SIC Safety Content

Keeping your customers informed

  • SIC Safety Content uses digital signage to publish content on screen in order to display advice on up-to-date health and safety guidelines.
  • Inform viewers about the technology implemented on-site that is safeguarding their well-being.
  • This technology is controlled through the Signtouch Content Management System (CMS) making publishing content easy and accessible for employees with very little training required.
  • Simply prepare and upload your content to our cloud-based platform, customise the look and feel using the template driven system and finally publish your content to any screen using our flexible scheduling options.

SIC Occupancy Control

Protect employees and customers with automated occupancy & queue control

  • By combining Signtouch People Counting and Digital Signage solutions, SIC Occupancy Control reduces risk for employees at the front door, automates your occupancy control management, and increases staff efficiency by utilising them elsewhere.
  • Using overhead cameras installed above entrances, we count the number of people entering and leaving sales in real-time. This data is used to calculate customer occupancy.
  • Customer occupancy helps limit the number of people in sales at any one time. By combining this data with digital signage, occupancy can be displayed to customers outside, along with safety measures implemented throughout the sales area.

SIC Thermal Sensing

Measure the temperature of people to protect customer and employee well-being

  • An elevated body temperature can be a symptom of potential health issues. Real-time measurements from thermal sensors can help to assess people at entry points to reduce the potential of high-risk interactions.
  • When the sensor detects someone with a higher temperature than the set threshold, it can trigger an audio and/or digital signage alert.
  • Alerts can be sent directly to security, employees or visitors.

SIC Mask Detection

Detect those not wearing personal protection equipment

  • In many instances, masks are advisable but also can be a mandatory requirement to help prevent the spread of illness.
  • The use of discreetly mounted cameras can assess if people are wearing a mask. If a person is detected without a mask the solution can trigger on screen alerts to advise them of the benefits or send a notification to designated staff if masks are mandatory.
  • This solution uses anonymous facial detection and is able to tailor dynamic messaging to different age groups, such as the elderly.
  • The system can also estimate distance between passers-by and activate on-screen alerts to help maintain social distancing.

SIC Employee Aid

Minimising exposure by maintaining distance between customer and employee

  • SIC Employee Aid counts how many people are in an area and also measures distances between customers and employees.
  • Using overhead cameras, alerts are sent when customers get within a defined distance in order to protect the well-being of employees. If thresholds are crossed, alerts are displayed on nearby digital signage to inform people of the social distancing guidelines in place.
  • Not only is this solution a real-time aid, the data gathered using these sensors can help businesses understand areas that could potentially be of high-risk. This allows businesses to gain a powerful insight into their layout with a view to optimising areas to prevent increased levels of occupancy.
  • Highlights areas to prioritise cleaning of the main customer/product/surface contact areas.

SIC Activity Monitor

Use collated data to adjust and improve your business

  • SIC Activity Monitor includes a dashboard and an API that provide meaningful information about interactions in your physical spaces.
  • This component tracks all the interactions that take place in a physical space, and shows you how many high-risk interactions occurred and where. You can use this data to identify high-risk areas and make appropriate adjustments.
  • According to World Health Organisation guidelines, an interaction is considered high-risk when two people come within one meter of each other. However, the default distance of one meter can be customised if your business requires a different distance.

The Signtouch demo centre is a fully operational workspace that allows you to experience our fully interactive touchscreen presentations first-hand. You can visit remotely, using any conferencing platform that suits your requirement, but there’s nothing quite like interacting with Signtouch in the flesh.

Alternatively, Signtouch can come to you; it’s a fully portable system – that’s one of our great strengths. All we need is some space, a power supply and an internet connection. If your IT protocol’s limit our access to your internet system that’s okay, we can still do the demo from the built-in media player attached to every screen.
